Natalie Waggener DVM


  • Graduated from Louisiana State University School of Vet. Med. with DVM 2001
  • Licensed in RI and MA
  • Husband: John
  • Pets: Iris (Rhodesian Ridgeback), Martin (Labrador retriever), Rico (chihuahua), Minerva (chihuahua), and the newest addition, Nena (also a chihuahua)
  • Moved to MA in 2005 and love it!
  • Days off are spent remodeling a handyman special and taking the dogs to the beach for playtime, gardening

Dr. Stacy Chartrand


We are so sorry to say that Dr. Chartrand will be leaving us! She is a Canadian national we were pleased to add last year as a temporary member of our team. Dr. Chartand is a skilled emergency veterinarian having worked for years in some of the top hospitals across Canada. She will be returning to Canada later this summer after her new baby joins the family. We will miss her terribly!

 

CONGRATULATIONS to Dr. Stacy and family! Baby Evan was born last week and mom and baby made it home for  their first Mother's day!

Dr. Katherine (KC) Horigan

KC Horigan, DVM is a graduate of Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Lafayette College and her Master of Science degree from the University of Vermont.  A native of the South Shore area, she is excited to join the South Boston Animal Hospital team as their new associate veterinarian.  Dr. Horigan has strong interests in surgery, dentistry and behavior medicine.  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, painting and playing with her two pups, Tucker and Kiva.



Jill MacMillan - senior surgery technician

Jill has been caring for pets as a technician in the Boston area since 1999. She also enjoys caring for her own zoo at home with dogs, cats reptiles and even a cockatoo! Jill is married to Diane and has 2 teenage girls.

 

 


 

Susan- CVT

Susan moved from California to Boston in 2001. She resides in Southie with Pearl her beautiful yellow Labrador. She is a lifelong animal lover and thinks this career is a great match for her. We are happy to have her as a member of our skilled team!

 

 

Sean -Veterinary assistant

Sean is a Weymouth resident with a Maine Coon cat for a roomie! He joined the team recently after a period of employment for a large veterinary pharmaceutical company. A great people person, Sean is always ready to help.


Laura - Currently enrolled and pursuing her CVT at Mt. Ida, Laura is a great addition to our weekend staff. We hope to keep her after she completes her degree. Congratulations Laura! She is expecting a bundle of joy this summer!

 

Shanna - Born and raised in Boston, Shanna has been a Veterinary Technician in the area for about 13 years. She lives here with her two cats Haley and Panda. Shanna has always loved animals of all kinds and very much enjoys her career.

 

Franscesca -
